External VAC-GARD Shut-Off Valve

VAC-GARD® External Shut-Off Valve prevents back flow of aerosols and fluids into the vacuum system. It is used with RECEPTAL liners which do not contain an integrated VAC-GARD shut-off valve.
- Translucent housing allows for fluid visualization
- Designed with a bacteria eliminating filter effective in removing 99.99% of Stapphyloccus aureus
- Includes ¼ in. (0.64 cm) Male x Female Elbow for setting adaptability
- Non-Sterile, Disposable

Systems Installation
External VAC-GARD
1. Select RECEPTAL® canister size and same size liner without integrated VAC-GARD® blue tubing insert external VAC-GARD® onto canister “T”.
2. Attach lid tubing to external VAC-GARD®. Connect vacuum tubing to canister “T”.
3. Connect patient tubing to patient port. Cap all ports not in use.
