Kevin Tang Appointed as Senior Vice President of Operations
We are pleased to announce that Mr. Kevin Tang will be appointed as Senior Vice President of Operations with Amsino Medical Group effective August 1st, 2010. He will report to Mr. Torsten Nilson, President of Contract Manufacturing BU of Amsino Medical Group. Mr. Kevin Tang will be responsible for all Amsino manufacturing plants and supply chain management. VP of Supply Chain Management and all General Managers will report to him.
Mr. Kevin Tang has been managing Becker Industrial Coating, China as a General Manager for nearly one year. He was fully in charge of the operation of the 2 factories and Commercial Team in that period. Before this, he worked as a General Manager for DOWS Chemical Nantong Joint Venture for nearly one year and was promoted to as an EHS RC leader for DOWS China to implement EHS process in all DOWS China manufacturers. He has more than 10 years’ experiences in plant management; some plants are American fortune 500 company, such as Ashland, Lhoist in China. Besides, he has more than 13 years’ R&D experiences in pharmaceutical intermediate in Chang Zhou Chemical Research Institute. He worked as a General Manager since 1997.
He graduated from QIQIHAR LIGHT INDUSTRY INSTITUTE in 1986 as a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and received a Master Degree in 1999 from EAST CHINA UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY with Pharmaceutical Engineering major.
Kevin is a great addition to the team and he will focus on lean manufacturing, KPI measurements, operational and supply chain efficiencies and we look forward to working with him closely in taking Amsino to the next level!
